| Fraunhofer Photocatalysis Network

The Fraunhofer Network develops new materials and coatings for more effective photocatalysts on glass, plastics and metals with following properties: self-cleaning, antibacterial, self-sterilization or anti-fogging.
Members: The Fraunhofer Institutes for Surface Engineering and Thin Films IST, for Chemical Technology ICT, for Manufacturing Engineering and Applied Materials Research IFAM, for Solar Energy Systems ISE, for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology IME, for Silicate Research ISC, for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology IGB and for Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP.
Competences: Material, coating and process development, analytics and measurement technique for the biological effectiveness and for eco-toxicological environmental impacts.
