STEAG ETA-Optik is a leading supplier of state-of-the-art opto-electronic test- and measurement equipment for various industries.
Founded 1991, ETA-Optik, Gesellschaft für optische Meßtechnik mbH, was originally created to develop and manufacture compact spectrometers together with their core components, holographic optical elements (HOEs). However, it soon became obvious that the company needed to get involved in developing complete systems rather than components.
Since 1996, ETA-Optik has become a major player in physical testing equipment for the Optical Disc industry.
STEAG ETA-Optik, a young energetic and enthusiastic company, based in Heinsberg / Germany, is formed by a team of more than 90 (2004) highly educated people, most of them with a University degree, 15 of these have a PhD.
A global sales and service network guarantees the necessary close contacts to their customers.
